FLossie Mae Autry

On June 17 in 1955 FLOSSIE MAE AUTRY WILLIAMS passed away. At the time of her death she lived with her sister ADA AUTRY WHITTED.

FLOSSIE MAE AUTRY (daughter of NED EDMUND AUTRY and MARY JOHNSON) was born in 1895. Sometime between 1910 and 1920 she left Bladen County for Cleveland, Ohio. While in Ohio she met and married JACK WILLIAMS. They were married on May 18, 1921. JACK was described as a thin and fair-skinned man from Cleveland. In 1920 FLOSSIE worked in a laundry factory in Cleveland. At the time she shared a home with her sister; SALLIE, and brothers; FLETCHER and ED HENRY AUTRY.

FLOSSIE returned to Bladen County sometime during the 1950's with her husband JACK. For an unknown length of time JACK was employed by FLOSSIE's nephew, LEROY AUTRY.

She is buried in the Marshburn Cemetery in Bladen County, North Carolina.
